DIHOC laments the effect of power instability on its operations despite high demand for the company’s shoes

military-bootsThe Acting General Manager of the Defense Industries Holding Company Limited (DIHOC); producers of military footwear in the country says the company’s products are in excess demand.

Eric Acheampong tells Ultimate radio the demand from the various security agencies and other companies have been unprecedented.
He says management of the local shoe factory is planning to acquire more plants to produce enough to meet it demands.

The factory currently produces 500 pieces of shoes a day and has produced 4000 pieces this year alone.

Mr. Acheampong also says the company is almost ready to start the production of school sandals for students as the president said. He was exclusively speaking to Ultimate Radio.

He however complains the rampant power outages as well as other challenges are militating against the work of the company.
