COVID-19: KTI to open isolation centre soon

The Principal of Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) has revealed measures put in place to ensure the safety of students against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic as they return to school.

Mr Mintah Bieni who was speaking to some journalists revealed that the school’s designated isolation centre will be ready any moment soon.

He also explained that strict protocols are being implemented towards the health of the students.

He also mentioned that items provided by the government have been distributed to the students. He said the items included nose masks, hand sanitizers, veronica buckets etc.

Already, more than 300 students have reported back to school with most of them being housed in the boarding facility while those who live close to the school commute daily.

The head master advised the students to continue to follow the laid down protocols for their own safety and assured them the school will do all within her power to protect them.
