npp1The controversies surrounding the credibility of existing constituency Album of the Manhyia North Constituency NPP in the Ashanti Region has been brought to its finality.

Tempers began rising  in recent times in the constituency when the Acting General Secretary John Boadu and NEC cited a certain Supreme Court ruling on the 9th of April, 2014 which nullified the party’s voters register and ordered a re-run of the entire elections from the polling station level to constituency level.

However, the executives of the constituency have challenged NEC to prove and provide a copy of such judgment. This decision by the Court of Appeal is a confirmation of an earlier ruling by a five member panel of Justices In the Superior Court of Judicature The Supreme Court (Civil Division ) Sitting in Accra on Thursday 3 day of December, 2015.

In the latest ruling, the Court of Appeal awarded a cost of 2,000 Ghana cedis against the 2nd, 3rd and 4th defendants/appellants.
