Change Red & Black colours in National Flag to avert calamities-Pastor

Government is being urged to alter the color composition of Ghana’s National Flag to forestall current and future national disasters. The red and black colors which stand for the toil and blood of our forefathers and the hope of Africa respectively is being blamed for the recent accidents, fire outbreaks and needless deaths in the country.
Commenting on the recent Kintampo Waterfalls Disaster during which a fallen tree killed and injured several revelers, Prophet Kwabena Acheampong of the Revival Inspiration Ministry in Kumasi, says until Ghanaians act towards changing the color composition of the Ghana Flag, the nation should expect more unexpected deaths of prominent people and other unwanted incidences. “I would rather not suggest any colors, Ghanaians should decide for themselves”, He says in an interview this reporter.
According to him, stars shine for progress and development and wonders why a star made black can help Ghana to become the light of Africa. Prophet Kwabena Acheampong is also calling on President Akufo Addo to place the clergy at the center of his administration in justification of God’s endorsement of him that resulted in his victory in the 2016 general elections.
Contributing to the discussion, an Asankrangwa based prophet with the Assemblies of God church, Prophet Nana Osei, also lamented at what he called “the relegation of pastoral messages and views” by Ghanaian governments coupled with the hasty criticisms leveled on religious leaders who expressed their views on governmental actions and national issues. The situation, he says, trampled on the democratic rights of religious leaders in Ghana and called on relevant stakeholders to help address it by embarking on intensive citizenship education.
