Ashanti NDC youth to face election 2016 with new “viva” chant

NDC3y3 zu, 3y3 za, emefa mie3 and other existing NDC chants are not the only ones that will be in operation as Ashanti NDC gears for election 2016.

As part of its quest to garner a million votes within the Ashanti region, Brogya Genfi and his army of NDC youth have been holding capacity building sbrogya-genfieminars and workshops throughout the Ashanti region. The emerging chant as far as these meetings are concerned is a spanish word “viva” which means “long life”.

Whoever is addressing the people chants; “Viv
a viva” , and then the ecstatic crowd responds; “viva”.

Ashanti NDC youth organizer; Brogya Genfi explains to rawgist.com the chant just means “long live the NDC”, as the party expects the NDC to remain in power for a very long time.

Considering the Ashanti and their bias towards local slogans, it will be interesting to see how the grassroots wrap their tongues around this new slogan which is expected to energize the party into another four-year term in government.
