I will go independent if Bawa wins the primaries – Former MP

NDCFormer MP for Ejura Sekyedumase Hon. Mohammed Yussif Pangabu says he will go independent if the MCE of the area who is contesting for the NDC parliamentary primaries Hon. Mohammed Bawah Braimah wins the ongoing primaries.

He will contest him as an independent candidate because Hon. Bawah contributed to his defeat in the 2012 election. “It is good to forgive someone who did bad to you, but if you decide not to forgive the person God will not punish you for that”, he said.

He explains that the MCE promised in 2012 that he will do all what he can to make him loose the seat and he did, so I will also do same to him “even the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia called me and asked of Ejura and I said is not good at all because I will go independent if Bawa wins the primaries and Mr Nketia said I will be fired from the party and I asked him that I and my members or I only? And he couldn’t answer so I’m serious and all of the executives in the party know I will go against him in 2016 election if only he wins the primaries. I don’t fear anything and what he did to me I will never forgive him “, he said.

He added, the MCE has no certificate and should therefore leave the contest to people with degrees. “He completed TAMASCO with me and both of us failed so if he goes to Parliament he will go and eat rice and come with empty hands”.

He also urged the electorate to vote for Mr. Njourkone Mathew Kojo because he is well educated and has potential to rise high in governance.
