NDC primaries: No vote for Ejura sekyedumase constituency

voteVoting in the NDC Primaries cannot take place in Ejura Sekyedumase due to alleged inadequate voting materials.

NDC Communication officer at Ejura Sekyedumase Mr.Adam Sulemana Abala tells rawgist.com “the vote can’t take place in the constituency because the number of members registered in Ejura Sekyedumase is more than the ballot papers that are in”

Mr.Adam continues that, “we registered thirteen thousand (13,000) members meaning 13,000 have the right to vote and choose a Candidate who will be going for 2016 in the name of their party in the constituency and now only eight thousand (8000) ballot papers came which means five thousand (5000) ares out, now some candidates are forcing us to use that number to vote but we can’t do that because it can cause problems in the constituency which we don’t like “.

He could not tell how soon the situation could be rectified and said they have to go through a process of reporting it to the regional office.
