Xhila Roy breaks Ghanaian dancehall code with new single #TRAMPLE BADMIND

Xhila RoyInspired by the issues of life, the brand ambassador of talent and the real McCoy of Jamaican music; Xhila Roy has dropped his first single. With the dancehall track titled; TRAMPLE, he explains that life is full of haters and jealous people and the way forward leaving these ‘bad minded’ people behind is to trample over them.

In 2010, he recorded a track in collaboration with Vista which was titled ‘Everything you do’. The versatile young gentleman does a couple of things apart from just music. He is a selector (D.J), a broadcast journalist, an MC among others. He was the MC for the ‘Galaxy Nyt’ which was organised by KNUST SRC in 2012, the Stoneboy ‘Bless My Community Concert, 2014’, the Queen Elizabeth II Hall ‘Queen of Queens Beauty Pageant and Artiste Night’ just to mention few.

Being the flock shepherd (President) of the Hard Way Survival Crew (HWS Crew), the entertainer wishes to inspire the youth with this track to go on with whatever good thing they are doing regardless of the “BADMINDED” nature of the society.

In a conversation with Focus FM’s Nana Kwame Asomdwoe, he said “BADMINDEDNESS should be a challenge to propel you to your heights; so at any stage of progress, you should be able to keep badmind away by trampling it: that is why I say “TRAMPLE BADMIND”
