NPP not organizing rallies in open spaces due to Nana Addo’s waning popularity

yamminFormer Ashanti regional Secretary of the NDC; Joseph Yammin says the NPP is unable to hold rallies in open spaces these days due to the waning popularity of their flagbearer.

“Akufo-Addo’s popularity is dwindling by the day so the NPP cannot organize rallies in open spaces. If you check you’ll see that wherever he goes, they have resorted to crowded places like lorry parks and markets to save themselves the embarrassment. ”

Hon. Joseph Yammin made the comment on Adom tv Monday morning.

Joseph Yammin who was speaking on the NDC’s 1 million votes agenda in the Ashanti region stated however that the popularity of President John Mahama and the NDC is soaring in the region at the same time Nana Addo’s is headed downhill.

He attributes President Mahama’s rising popularity to the political strategy of the NDC as well as the massive infrastructural developments put up by the John Mahama administration.

The former Deputy minister for the Ashanti region believes that the people of the Ashanti region appreciate greatly the projects ongoing in the region and will show that appreciation through their votes which will culminate in 1 million votes and a minimum of 30 percent of votes as targeted by the party.

He also encouraged all members and sympathizers of the NDC to work tirelessly to ensure victory for the NDC in the upcoming polls.
