NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Suame in last year’s election is currently in the United States of America following his invitation by the U.S Department of State to participate in their Youth Leadership Study programme.
The programme under the theme; ” Youth: Inspiring leadership and civic participation is fully sponsored by the U.S Department of state and will end on the 4th of July, 2017.
Whiles there, Yaw Brogya Genfi will interact with the United States Chapter of the NDC as well as various NDC groupings there.
A statement issued by the Ashanti regional branch of the NDC indicates that one of the Deputy Regional Youth Organizers of the party in the region; Osman Abdullah will take charge as the Regional Youth Organizer whiles Yaw Brogya Genfi is away.
Yaw Brogya Genfi aside giving the majority leader a run for his money in the last elections for the Suame Parliamentary seat, has also made a name for himself as the man who petitioned CHRAJ to investigate the controversial $2.5bn bond issued by finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
