Deputy Ashanti region minister, Joseph Yammin has taken a swipe at people who try to use social media to propagate lies about government and government projects.
The Deputy minister during a tour of some government projects in the Ashanti region told rawgist.com the inspection was a first step to ensuring that such “devilish” propaganda is nipped in the bud.
“We need to ensure that contractors are taking the projects seriously and work within the specified time. I saw a post on social media which was concocted to deceive people about the projects government is undertaking”, he told rawgist.com.
He also reveals the party intends to embark on “pictorial campaign” where such frequent visits are undertaken with pictorial evidence which is then shared on every available medium.
The Deputy Minister’s tour took him to the Fumso and Apagya in the Adansi North and South Districts area where he interacted with workers of PEGOS Gh. Limited and Horns Construction Company who are working on separate 3-storey E-classroom blocks.
