Nana Addo, NPP not serious with COVID-19 fight-Yammin

Former Deputy Ashanti regional Minister; Joseph Yammin has accused the government of not being serious with COVID-19 and its associated issues.

He alleges that while the NDC is observing COVID-19 protocols, the NPP government, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo are moving around freely and campaigning in the name of government business.

“They refused to close the borders earlier, they refused to do mass testing, they refused to lock down the country when advised, so they have never been serious about this COVID-19” insisted.

He said the NDC has been more serious with COVID-19 than the ruling government.

“Regarding the elections, we know that observing the protocols will restrict how we address mass rallies but Ghanaians have already decided ahead of 7th December” he said in an interaction with rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi.

Many have wondered how the electioneering campaigns are going to be fair with government officials going about their business as usual while other parties are restricted and cannot hold rallies.

Joseph Yammin is however confident the situation will not affect the NDC as the tides are turned against the ruling government.
