Manso Nkwanta: Former MP back to reclaim seat

Former MP for Manso-Nkwanta; Ms. Grace Addo picking her nomination forms

The former member of parliament for Manso Nkwanta constituency in the Ashanti region, Ms. Grace Addo is back in an attempt to retake the seat on the ticket of the NPP.

She said, her coming back was as a result of numerous calls from delegates, party faithful and the constituents at large.

The former MP, who picked her nomination forms on Monday 27th January, 2020 at the Party’s office at Manso Nkwanta confirmed her readiness to serve the good people of the constituency.

The MP in an interview with Oyerepa news said, she will win the primaries hands down.

The former MP in 2015 lost the primaries to the incumbent Member of Parliament Mr. Albert Joseph Quarm with a one vote margin.

She was the only member of Parliament who had served the constituency for two consecutive terms; no other Member of Parliament had been able to secure the mandate of the delegates for a second term. She however believes that her good rapport with the constituents and the party’s delegates gave her the nod to serve two terms.

Based on her rich experience and good rapport with the constituents, she believes her second coming is a done deal, and implored all to rally behind her this time round to continue from where she left off.
