Mahama endorses Samuel Sarpong for Nhyiaeso

samuel_sarpong8The president, John Dramani Mahama has remarkably endorsed the parliamentary candidature of Dr Samuel Sarpong for the Nhyaieso constituency, insisting the former Mayor provides the best hope to securing a prosperous community.

Addressing a hugely impressive rally at the forecourt of the Sokoban Wood Village, President Mahama said the former mayor had been one of the shining stars of his government.

According to him, Mr Sarpong had excelled in every position he has served in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as well as in government since 2009.

”I present to the people of Nhyiaeso one of my hardworking comrades who has excelled in every position he has served and I know he will bring total development to this community”, the President intimated.

CHANGE:
Rallying the people, the president urged residents of Nhyiaeso to vote for change since the previous NPP MP’s had woefully failed to bring the kind of development needed at the elite constituency.

He maintained MPs were agents of development and any legislator who failed to lobby for development for his or her area needed to be changed for a more competent person.

According to him, the Nhyiaeso constituency needed someone who could effectively coordinate support and development for its youth as well as the aged.

”I know what Samuel Sarpong can do because he is a goal getter having worked extremely well in all offices he occupied in government”, the president commended.

PROMISE:
Earlier on, the president promised the management and workers at the Sokoban Wood village support so as to enable them complete the third face of works needed to be done at the wood hub.

This, he stressed was to ensure the place was opened up to accommodate more wood artisans as well as improve the quality of work at the village.

”I promise to help you finish the work that has been started here so as to enable you provide more spaces for wood workers and artisans”, the president noted amidst cheers.

In a brief remark to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Dr Samuel Sarpong thanked the chiefs and people of Sokoban for their continued support and promised to be a father to all inhabitants.
