Komfo Anokye Discounts Rumours on NHIS

1126Director of Administration at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Mr. I Offeh Gyimah has dismissed rumors that NHIS subscribers are denied healthcare at the facility.

He tells rawgist.com in an interview “the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) continues to be a centre of excellence in healthcare delivery contrary to rumours  in the Ashanti Region patients on NHIS are turn way.

The hospital under the new director has beefed -up the already strengthened security by installing additional CCTVs and computers in all offices to monitor staff and patients as well as miscreants.

The installation is also expected to block financial loopholes that cost the facility lots of money the facility over the past years. Mr. Offeh Gyimah urged the public to report issues concerning their NHIS cards to his office for investigations and promised that all complaints will be handled confidentially.
