One of the main contenders of the National Chairmanship position of the NDC, Alhaji Hudu Yahaya made a shocking withdrawal from the race.
Though no reason has been given for the withdrawal, rawgist.com has reasons to believe he was impressed upon by some higher powers within the party to step down for the sake of regional balance in the party’s leadership.
Earlier Saturday, Alhaji Hudu Yahaya’s team intimated to rawgist.com their candidate will not step down despite pressure from the Presidency.
The announcement which shocked several supporters was made just minutes to the election.
