Go out, look for your names-Nana Addo calls out to Ghanaians

Nana-Addo2The flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo has called on Ghanaians to step out and look for their names as the Electoral Commission exhibits the voters register.

The exercise, the former Foreign Affairs Minister reminded would take off this Monday, the 18th of July to the 7th of August, next month.

Addressing a mammoth rally at the Agona lorry station in the Afigya Kwabre East constituency of the Ashanti Region, Nana Addo stressed the exhibition exercise was necessary since it will provide an avenue for every one to know whether he is on the voter roll or not.

He noted the citizenry would only get the chance to effect the change they so desire only when they ensure their names were on the voter roll.

He, therefore, urged citizens to take the exhibition process serious as they call their fellow brothers and sisters to check out their names.

CHANGE:
According to the flag-bearer, the clarion call from people across the country as he toured had been the need for change of government.

However, he insisted change can only be effected when the citizens put themselves up for it.

The people, he stressed should be part of the processes in the lead up to the presidential and parliamentary polls slated for the end of this year.

He assured the people that as a candidate he would work to ensure he wins the upcoming polls to bring relief to the suffering masses.

CAMPAIGN:
Nana Addo promised party folks to conduct themselves in a manner that would attract floating voters to the NPP fold.

He charged them to shelve hate and indecent language since it drove people away from the party.

According to him, only words of encouragement and hope was the one that builds and binds up.

He stressed every voter was to be won to the NPP fold so as to ensure he wins the upcoming polls convincingly.

He commended the Ashanti Regional executives, officers and Members of Parliament for drawing up such an encouraging program as he toured the over 30 constituencies.
