Ghana’s youth have a right to be hopeful-Francis Adomako

An Ashanti Regional Organizer hopeful, Mr Francis Adomako has applauded the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for assuring the youth of the country of job openings.

According to the university lecturer, this is the best form of motivation the youth needed to hear at this particular moment of their lives.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Mr Adomako said the President’s State of the Nation address gives the assurance that the government is concerned about youth employment.

Every single detail of the address, the University lecturer noted pointed to avenues being created to get more jobs for the youth.

EFFORTS:
The NPP man expressed happiness about the decision by Ecobank to take on some youth who are undergoing training in some selected fields of banking.

According to Mr Adomako, this initiative between the Government of Ghana and the Multinational Bank would open up opportunities for about three thousand (3,000) youth as announced by the President.

The Regional Organizer hopeful believed that such interventions from government and the private sector would lead to the opening up of job spaces for the mass of the youth.

Mr Adomako admitted there are several youth out there in the streets and homes who are still jobless, adding that the determination by government to tackle the unemployment phenomenon will help reduce the worrying trend.

PLANS:
Outlining his plans, Mr Adomako indicated his resolve to use his influence as regional organizer when elected in the upcoming polls to lobby for more jobs for the youth.

According to him, many of the constituency and branch organizers of the NPP are youthful and are desirous of getting opportunities to work.

Searching and lobbying for jobs, Mr Adomako noted will be a priority when he is elected into office as regional organizer.

He noted that training workshops and women empowerment schemes will be designed by his office to enable the youth to take advantage of jobs that will be created in that arena.
