Dunkwa Nursing School SRC donates to school

SRC Executives making the donation to the Dunkwa Nursing School

The Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Dunkwa Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC), last week donated thirty pieces of ceiling fans to the Principal of the college as part of the students’ contribution towards the development of the school.

The Public Relations Officer of the SRC, Kwadwo Baah, who presented the items on behalf of Ms. Dorincia Asiedu, the SRC president and  the students, said the donations were part of the SRC’s contribution to make the college a comfortable place for studies.

The SRC President mentioned that a number of projects that have been undertaken by their predecessors and said the students will to the little they can towards uplifting the image and standard of the college.

Ms. Asiedu said the SRC has earlier donated a generator, polytanks, and a model radio station and constructed a summer hat and a sports complex for the college from the students’ SRC dues.

The Principal of the college, Mr. David Ben Sampson who received the items on behalf of the school, pledged that management would continue to support and cooperate with the students in their quest to help improve conditions in the school.

The Principal also advised the students’ council to exercise patience whenever their demands or requests are not immediately met by the school authorities.
