“Desist from corrupting National Service processes” – Gifty Oware-Aboagye

Prospective National Service personnel have been advised to desist from influencing the process of posting with money and other means.

This piece of advice was delivered by the Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme in charge of Administration and Finance; Dr. Gifty Oware-Aboagye during an ongoing campus orientation held at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).  She explained that culprits of such acts shall not go unpunished when caught.

She also explained the essence of National Service saying; whiles the personnel give back to the nation through service, the period as well provides fresh graduates with exposure and first hand corporate skills.

Dr. Oware-Aboagye reiterated the need for service personnel to incorporate the spirit of commitment as the secretariat did by increasing the personnel allowance.

She emphasized the commitment of the directorate and management led by the Ag. Executive Director Hon. Mustapha Ussif, towards ensuring the welfare of the personnel throughout their service period.

Other directors also took the students through the process of enrolling, getting their pins then through to registration. The students were also given H.R advice by Mrs. Adjoa Van-Vicker who is the Director of H.R.
