Be patient with party leaders-Francis Adomako pleads

Ghana Politics News-Mr Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appealed to its recognized serial callers to be patient with party leaders as the party works to streamline compensation packages for the work they do.

According to Mr Adomako, the NPP cannot by its mainstream communication team do the work of projecting government programs and policies alone, adding it would need the services of its functional serial callers group.

This, the organizer noted meant that the party factors into its plans ways of making the group’s work easier by resourcing them with the needed support initiatives.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper over the weekend, the hard-working lecturer intimated his desire to ensure all that is needed to make the work of the serial callers less stressful is carried out.

‘’I, as the organizer of the party in Ashanti know the role our hard working serial callers play in the scheme of party work but will urge them to be patient as we address the concerns they raised in their earlier public demonstration and urge that all similar groups across the country rather than a public show of opprobrium use party structures to resolve such issues when they come up’’, Mr Adomako appealed passionately.

COMPLAINTS:

Mr Adomako reminded all identifiable groups in the NPP to use the party’s internal structures to lodge complaints or seek explanations of issues that may bother them.

This, he stressed is the best approach to tackling issues of concern rather than using the media or other public outfits to get same matters addressed.

The university lecturer noted that it is only the party structures that can get matters of welfare and service conditions resolved or addressed.

He opined no media house or external body outside the NPP could be able to resolve its internal matters.

‘’I take this opportunity to appeal to all identifiable groups within our rank and file to consciously use the structures in our party to get issues that may be bothering them addressed and I believe by doing this we will save ourselves the trouble of making the party look bad in the eyes of the public’’, Francois posited.

INNOVATIVE APPROACH:

Mr Adomako also advised branch and constituency organizers to devise innovative ways and means of reaching out to its identifiable groups so they could learn at first hand the challenges they may be facing.

This approach, the affable lecturer mentioned is best than the fire fighting approach some of the organizers do.

He noted it is best for branch and constituency organizers to reach out to the groups they work with so that they could learn of their problems and settle them before they escalate into full blown cases.

‘’I urge all branch and constituency organizers to use the opportunity they have gotten to serve the NPP to reach out to the groups that identify itself with the party and work to ensure all challenges they may be facing are addressed on time than to allow it to fester to the point of escalation’’, Mr Adomako strongly admonished.
