Ghana Politics News-Ashanti NDC Deputy Organizer hopeful Robert Owusu Tilton says he will ensure that people are not disenfranchised during election 2020.
He says in his estimation, over 50,000 people of NDC extraction could not vote in the previous election because of improper planning. He says those people needed to be transported to their voting locations to enable them vote but were not able to vote due to frantic last minute efforts by party leadership.
Mr. Owusu Tilton spoke to Bernard Buachi of rawgist.com ahead of his vetting last week.
He says his victory and the victory of his team mates (Team Yammin) is assured.
He explains that the delegates have given unmistakable signals that show that their victory is a done deal.
“Everywhere we go, the delegates themselves take the speech from us, they begin to testify of our good work in the party”, he said.
He is therefore confident the delegates will bless them with the needed votes to make them regional executives of the NDC.
