Asabee, Asenso Boakye rally women groups in Bantama to register to vote

The Director General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng early thursday morning joined the NPP Parliamentary candidate (PC) for Bantama, Francis Asenso Boakye to rally women groups at the race course to register to vote in the ongoing EC exercise.

The two state officials also gave training tips to some women volunteer groups to enable them disseminate the right information for people to take part in the ongoing registration exercise.

Touring some of the registration centers including the Bantama Presby Registration Center, Mr Asamoah Boateng expressed satisfaction at the EC process.

He commended both prospective registrants and the EC officials as well as the various party agents for observing the COVID-19 protocols.

ADMONITION:
Speaking to some market queens and traders later, Mr Asamoah Boateng popularly called “Asabee” said it is important that they registered to vote on December 7.

The upcoming general elections, the D-G of SIGA noted would be a defining factor for the country.

He noted the polls would determine whether the country would move further forward or backwards.

“The December 7 polls would present the Ghanaian the opportunity to better their lives by voting for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to continue progressive projects embarked upon by this NPP government”, Asabee intimated.

ASENSO BOAKYE:
On his part, Deputy Chief of Staff and NPP PC for Bantama said the first step of helping to retain Nana Addo in power is for people to register in the ongoing EC exercise.

By registering, Mr Asenso intimated that Ghanaians would have the opportunity to define their destinies.

A vote for Nana Addo on December 7 would mean that Ghanaians want to have progress in their lives.

“I urge you to spread the good news of this government since you are home makers and ensure that anyone you know registers to vote on December 7”, Mr Asenso Boakye stressed.
