Women have a major role to play in NPP’s comeback in 2028 – Hajia Safia charges Women Organizers
Hajia Safia Mohammed, Deputy National Women Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party has charged Women Organizers from the Polling Stations, Constituencies, Regions and National level to mobilize more votes for their comeback in the 2028 general elections.
According to the former National Coordinator of the Ghana School Free Program, all researches conducted after the 7th December, 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections have proven that over 2 million NPP members did not go out to cast their ballots due to apathy; therefore Women will play a major role in revitalizing their supporters to cure this wound ahead of 2028.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with this reporter when she met with NPP Women Organizers in the Bono East Region as part of her Nationwide Tour, Hajia Safia Mohammed noted that women are more in numbers than men and women are in a better capacity to convince voters therefore her resolve to whip them to begin the campaign for 2028 immediately.
Hajia Safia Mohammed further revealed her intentions to inherit and continue the good works of her Boss as the next NPP National Women’s Organizer since Madam Kate Gyamfuaa has decided not to contest again in the party’s upcoming internal elections.
