University of Ghana Joins Worldwide Universities Network (WUN)

logo_wunThe University of Ghana has been signed on to the global network of the Worldwide Universities Network.

The move is seen as a unique opportunity for the University of Ghana to work on major global and local development challenges using the collective skills of some of the world’s best researchers.

Obviously elated by the University’s move, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ernest Aryeetey believes this will enhance the University’s contribution to the world of research.

In a release by WUN, Executive Director of WUN, John Hearn is quoted to have said that the move is part of WUN’s mission to develop a network of peer universities with regional diversity. http://wun.ac.uk/article/worldwide-universities-network-extends-its-global-reach-into-west-africa
