The death of Emmanuel Sithole

emmanuel-sitholeI just read on Ghanaian Tv website Visat1.com ,The Death of Mozambican Emmanuel Sithole, from the story i noticed the story was originally published by South African website timeslive.co.za

I went on a 3 week visit to South Africa about a year ago, i must confess most Africans will love to live and work in South Africa.
The sun shines brightly in South Africa, good roads, pretty women and nice gentlemen, no wonder South Africa is called the Rainbow Nation.

The reporter of the story did a marvelous work on reporting every detail on how Emmanuel was sadly killed.

From the pictures in the report Emmanuel Sithole to me,looks like a South African with his hair cut ‘chiscop’ (popular men’s hair cut in South Africa).

The last part of the report reads “On his wrist, three armbands read: “United for Bafana.”That tells me Emmanuel Sithole must have been living in South Africa for more than a year, and to have 3 Bafana armbands on means Emmanuel loved living in the Rainbow Nation.

I was very young when Apartheid ended in South Africa, my mother used to weep for how our African brothers and sisters were being treated in their own country.

Growing up, i read the whole of Africa rejoiced when South Africa became free from Apartheid.

Now my brothers and sisters in South Africa, Africa weeped for you when you were troubled, do not pay Africa back with such cruelty.

These xenophobic attacks must stop.

God help us all.
