Recent kidnappings, robberies: Francis Adomako fingers NDC

Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has alleged that the latest wave of highway robberies in daylight and series of reported cases of kidnappings might be the handiwork of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to this reporter Tuesday evening, Mr Adomako said the NDC seems to be hatching the very plot as depicted on a tape recording prior to the 2020 general election just to create an atmosphere of insecurity in the minds of Ghanaians.

The Regional executive noted that just as the recording, there seems to be a choreographed thing at play in the country.

Mr Adomako said, ‘it is surprising that armed robbers could brazenly accost people on the streets and rob them of their belongings amidst the tooting of guns”.

STRATEGY:
The NPP executive said the strategy by the NDC is to create a state of insecurity.

He added that in their desperation,  the largest opposition party wants to make people panic every day and thereby dominate their minds that Ghana was no longer safe under the NPP.

Mr Adomako revealed that since the incidences began, almost all NDC communicators who have mounted platforms on radio and TV try to create the impression that Ghana was unsafe to live in.

“Some NDC members sound excited that such a situation is being seen in the country and from their pronouncements they seem happy”, the NPP regional executive stated.

PATRIOTISM:
This attitude of creating insecurity, the regional executive condemned and stressed that it is a sign of desperation and a lack of patriotism by the NDC.

The NPP, Mr Adomako said has a clear mandate to put the economy back to shape.

This, he noted is what occupies the minds of appointees anytime they set off to work.

“Ghana could be a better place for all its citizens if political parties learn to offer support to ruling governments so as to succeed with the policies and programs they have”, Mr Adomako posited.
