PAINT holds ‘Homecoming’ exhibition

paintPractising Artists International (PAINT) is exhibiting some of the works of its members at the Centre for National Culture (Arts Centre) in Accra.

Dubbed ‘Homecoming’, the two-week exhibition which started last Thursday, July 24, is showcasing 32 works of the painters.

Homecoming is the fourth project by PAINT. It, among other things, hopes to bring back the flurry of activities that used to characterise the gallery of the Centre for National Culture (CNC).

The painters whose works are being exhibited include Nii T. Mills, Seth Clottey, Kofi Nduro and Betty Aquah. The exhibition will end on Friday, August 8, 2014.

This is where most Ghanaian artists started and by this project, which is expected to be an annual event; PAINT would re-establish the relationship that existed between the top fine artists in Ghana and the Centre for National Culture.

PAINT has served the platform for every artist- sculptor, painter, ceramist, dancer and photographers to enhance their calling in their respective fields.
