Investments: Don’t be led by greed, listen to your brokers-CEO warns

Ghana Business News-Investment expert and CEO of Mutual Integrity Asset Management Company, Ebenezer Esigie has advised investors to take advice from their stock brokers seriously to avoid losing money.

He explains that many investors tend to ignore advice from their brokers when they seem to be gaining.

“Your stock broker has been equipped to study the market and trends. They do a lot of research on our markets, hence the need to listen to them. When they ask you to sell, sell”, he said.

Mr. Esigie was speaking at a business seminar organized by the Mountain Builders Network at the True Vine Hotel in Kumasi.

He said many have lost money because they were led by greed instead of well-researched advice from their brokers.

He also advised business owners to endeavor to invest in their businesses. He says investment can come in various forms other than cash. He explained that Knowledge is a critical area where businesses should invest because many enterprises fail due to inadequate knowledge of the business.
