I’m winning all polling stations in Asokwa Extension-Akwasi Appiah

An aspiring assembly member for the Asokwa Extension electoral area, Akwasi Appiah says he is sure to win the upcoming district level elections in the Asokwa community.

According to him, the work done by him so far and the house to house campaign strategy he devised will help him win massively.

Speaking to this reporter Thursday morning, Mr Appiah said her has every conviction that people in the electoral area will endorse his candidature on the 17th of December.

The aspirant noted that his campaign had gone down very well and was sure to bag between 65 and 60 percent of the votes up for grabs at the impending polls.

STRATEGY:

Mr Appiah said having lived his entire life in the Asokwa community it was easy touching base with the people.

He noted that with a simple message of seeking to lobby for more development projects for the electoral area the members of the community bought into his ideas.

He stressed that being an elite community he only appealed to people to use him as a vessel who would seek for needful development projects for the area.

Mr Appiah said he had so far trained polling agents to man the 11 centers so that accounting and other needful processes are carried out with his active participation albeit through agents.

VOTE BUYING:

Expressing worry about the tactics being deployed by another competitor, Mr Appiah said the man by name Sheriff Gyamfi is engaged in vote buying tricks.

According to Mr Appiah, Sheriif goes about giving people as high as 100gh cedis and 5kilos bags of rice in areas he tours during his campaign.

This is unacceptable because that is vote buying, Mr Appiah claimed.

But as at the time of going to press, Mr Sheriff Gyamfi was unreachable for his comment on the allegations.
However, he noted with a fair playground he was sure to win a massive victory with the strategy he has adopted by name ‘Operation Win all Polling Stations’.
