The Ghana stand mounted at the Tea and Coffee Expo in Hangzhou-China was toast of patrons’ especially Chinese nationals as the products on display including cocoa drink excited many as they queued to test.
Interestingly, Ghana entered the Expo as special guest country but incidentally ended up by stealing the show at the exhibition of cocoa and coffee products.

The Minister took the opportunity of the mass visit to the Ghanaian stands to promote chocolate and other products from Ghana to the Chinese and other nationals at the Expo.
Interacting with visitors and patrons, Dr Afriyie noted that the Ghanaian cocoa was high in quality and urged the Chinese government and others to direct investment into the cocoa industry in Ghana.
Honoring the Ghanaian team on the third day, the Chinese Minister for Agric and Rural Affairs, Mr Han Chanfu extolled the quality of the Ghanaian cocoa bean.
He said Ghanaian cocoa and coffee had all the essential nutrients one would want to see in such products.
The Minister commended the Ghanaian government and the Ministry of Agric for being consistent in producing quality beans and coffee.
Speaking succinctly during a tour of the Ghanaian stand, Dr Qu Dongyu, Chinese Vice-Minister for Agric praised the Ghana Cocoa Processing Company, the Ghana Cocobod and the Ministry of Agric for ensuring that the Ghanaian cocoa and coffee products become nutritious at all seasons.
