Flour users Association say bread prices will increase starting tomorrow
Bakers and other users of flour in the Ashanti region have raised the price of bread and other flour products.
The flour users Association held a press conference to announce that the increment takes effect tomorrow. The price of bread will rise from the current two cedis to 3 cedis and more.
President of the Association; Mrs Comfort Akotua lamented that the Millers increased the price of the flour without prompting them.
She added, that they have been reducing the size of the bread in order not to make losses but are now forced to raise the price of the bread in order not to incur losses.
They are appealing to the general public to cooperate with them.
