DCE angry at staff for turning up late to work

MR. MICHAEL Amoah Awuku, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya District Assembly has expressed worry over the lateness of civil servants in public institutions to their duty posts.

He says punctuality is the soul of every business.

He raised this concern when he observed consistent lateness for duty by his staff at the District Assembly.

He threatened to sanction staff who turn up late for work or other official appointments severely.

He tasked the District Coordinating Director Mr. James Amartey and his team to be proactive in their supervisory role and pay particular attention to lateness to work.

The DCE pled with media practitioners help educate the public on the importance of time management, illegal mining and impunity in the society.
