Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agyaba Jewellery has advised business persons and corporate bodies to assist security agencies especially the Police Service to maintain peace and order in the Ghanaian society.
According to Dr Agyaba Kwame Afriyie, such organizations can use their influential roles in the society to contribute to the improvement of security not only within their localities but also the nation as a whole.
He said there was a need to acknowledge the fact that, the Police and other security agencies have acquitted themselves creditably in carrying out their mandate in helping create the appropriate environment conducive to the economic development of the nation.
The Police, he added therefore deserved a lot of commendation for their commitment to working tirelessly towards the preservation of peace and tranquility in the country.
Dr Kwame Afriyie who hails from Krapa in the Ejisu-Juabeng Municipality of the Ashanti Region has contributed immensely towards the establishment of most of Police posts in the area and also the provision of logistics to the service to assist them in their line of duty.
The renowned business man recently donated four (4) brand new motor-bikes to the Ejisu Divisional Police Command to assist them in their patrols.

The Agyaba CEO further added that maintaining peace and order in the society should not be left only in the hands of the Police Service, but all especially corporate bodies must help in that regard.
“I think if all business persons come on board to help the Police Service it will go a long way to enhance nation development,” he indicated.
He however expressed his commitment to continually lend the needed support to the Police Service to enable the service achieve the broader security objectives for human development.
Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Kofi Boakye at a recent function commended Dr Agyaba Kwame Afriyie for his continuous support to the Police Service and called on other business managers to emulate his work.
