The flopped musical concert of Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter, Burna Boy continues to make news several days after the event.
Information reaching rawgist.com is that funds meant for promotion were misused to pay off personal debts. It is reported that close to GHC20,000 obtained from investors has not been accounted for. The company known for involvement in the Joey B and Pappi Kojo Tour, was responsible for the organisation of the Burna Boy and AKA concert on Friday April 24th.
Images of the concert circulating on social media showed very few people attended the event. Those who attended peg the number of participants at less than 40; a situation which became subject of various social media activity throughout Ghana and Nigeria.
Burna Boy, who was highly disappointed in his visit to Ghana, has since apologized to his fans and encouraged them to seek refunds.
