Joseph Yammin who celebrated his birthday Wednesday 16th May, 2018 said the day was not going to be marked by a ceremony of any sort; especially since his party is in opposition.
He would be excited about special days when he as Ashanti regional Chairman of the NDC leads the party to reclaim Ghana’s Presidential seat.
Hon. Yammin says he is confident he will become the regional chairman because the time is rife for experienced and strong hands to lead the NDC in the region against the likes of Chairman Wontumi. “The members of the party already know that 2020 is not going to be kids’ play and they know the right man for the job”, he said.
He lamented how the NPP government has abandoned NDC projects that would have inured to the benefit of Ghanaians and have been unable to make any meaningful strides of their own.
Joseph Yammin has been known to be a torn in the flesh of the NPP in the Ashanti region from his days as a parliamentary candidate of Kwadaso through his regional secretaryship to his participation in governance.
Many in the Ashanti region believe the NDC can only begin to make a strong mark in the region with a strong leader in like Joseph Yammin.
