Xhila RoyThe Dancehall industry in Ghana is yet to see the best of talents as one of its faithful ambassadors is all set to change the face of the Jamaican genre that has deeply caught-up with the youth of the country.

Xhila Roy as he’s known in showbiz started his journey as a student radio presenter hosting several Reggae and Dancehall shows on Focus FM (the official mouthpiece of KNUST) in Kumasi where he also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Biotechnology, he has since rocked several radio stations in the capital Accra with his flare in dancehall music presentation.

His dexterity in events mastering and command over both the English and Patwa language propelled him to mainstream popularity in 2012 as he nailed the maiden edition of KNUST SRC Galaxy Nite as the M.C. He has since shared the same stage with several known names in the Ghanaian music industry like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, E.L, Jupita, Samini, Keche and so on.

Xhila Roy the Real McCoy of Jamaican dancehall promises to thrill good music lovers especially dancehall patrons with what he terms “Real Jamaican Dancehall” as he drops his debuts “Party Again” and “Trample Badmind”.
