We are to win the world for Christ-House of faith ministry rallies Christians

The House Of Faith Ministry (HOFM), a charismatic Church in Kumasi, as part of its 30th anniversary celebration has rallied Christians to consciously work to win the world for Christ Jesus.

According to the church, this would be the very thing Christ would be glorified that all men are saved.

The year-long celebration is on the theme; ”Celebrating 30years of God’s goodness, Revive us Again Oh Lord”.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, during a medical screening exercise conducted by the church for residents of Hwidiem, a community in the Atwima- Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region, Elder Bright Akhurst, leader of the medical team said the gesture formed part of activities lined up by the church in commemoration of its 30 years of existence.

According to him, the church was determined to make the celebration relevant to people of all walks of life.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Church leader noted the importance of seeking the welfare of its members and residents of the Ashanti Region, adding it was the church’s social responsibility to do so in the society they reside.

He reckoned it was enough to preach the gospel to people but to also take care of the needs of the people.
The residents of Hwidiem were screened for blood- pressure , blood sugar levels, breast- cancer and malaria.

EVANGELISM:
On his part, Rev Lamour Latif Agyemang, Minister in-charge of the Church’s Outreach and Evangelism Department said the church’s role and primary mandate was to first preach Christ to all men and women irrespective their religious or social background.

As part of the anniversary, Rev Latif said the church was determined to win more souls for Christ.

He, however, encouraged Christians to leave their comfort zones and preach the gospel of salvation in everywhere they found themselves so as to fulfill the commission given to them by Christ Jesus.
