We’ve been resourced to work-Francis Adomako affirms

The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Francis Adomako says his outfit has been resourced to perform its functions very well.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer newspaper Saturday morning, Mr Adomako said his outfit is monitoring the ongoing registration exercise by the Electoral Commission with eagle eyes.

So far, the Organiser stressed that the national as well as regional offices of the party has resourced regional as well as constituency and branch organisers to carry out their functions in an effective manner.

Mr Adomako rubbished reports that he had been using taxis to trek as well as carry out his activities, adding that he has a vehicle to perform his duties.

“I have a vehicle and it is with that i monitor and conduct all my activities”, Mr Adomako intimated.

REBUTTAL:
Mr Adomako also rebutted claims that his outfit has been denied resources in the registration exercise.

He noted that all that is needed to enable him visit the registration centers has been made available to him.

Constituency organisers, the regional executive noted have also been provided with logistics needed to perform their mandates.

As and when fresh supplies are needed, Mr Adomako said his outfit has a way of channelling same to places that require support.

“Neither I or any officer under my outfit  has been starved of funds to carry out the mandate assigned to us”, the Regional organiser posited.

FOCUS:
The Regional Organiser said his outfit is focused on the mandate given to it in the ongoing exercise.

He noted that the target of the party is to win the 47 seats available for contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Ashanti.

The party, he further indicated is determined to win at least 90% of votes in the presidential election on December 7.

These targets, Mr Adomako said is what  the party is focused on, adding that to achieve these the party is vigorously encouraging eligible and prospective voters to register in the ongoing EC exercise.

“As a party our focus is to work to attain our targets and nothing would be allowed to derail us in this desire of ours”, Mr Adomako intimated.
