The impase between the Western North Regional Minister and MP for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Hon Kingsley Aboagye and the paramount chief of Sefwi Wiawso Katakyie Kwasi Bumagama ll has finally been resolved amicably by a powerful government delegation led by the Minister of National security Albert Kan Dapaah, Minister for chieftaincy Affairs; Kofi Dzamesi, Dr Kwaku Afriyie MP for Sefwi Wiawso, Mr Williams Assuah Benjamin; Western North regional NPP chairman and Hon Luis Agyapong; MCE Sefwi Wiawso .
Speaking with Awuku Addo Henex Radio Bibiani the senior linguist of Sefwi Wiawso traditional Council Okyeame Yaw Berko said Katakyie and his chiefs wouldn’t have forgiven the Regional Minister but for the intervention of the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo.
Okyeame Nana Yaw Berko also revealed that the regional Minister who is also the Chairman of REGSEC has been tasked by the National Security Minister Albert Kan Dapaah to ensure that Katakyie is always protected and there is peace and tranquility at his Palace.
