“We value loyalty” MTN tells Asanteman during Ashantifest 2017 celebration

MTN, Ghana’s leading telecommunications provider, is  once again celebrating  Ashantifest, it’s a month-long festival,  celebrated with the people of Asanteman from 30th September -31st October 2017.  This annual regional festival was created by MTN to bring the brand closer to Asanteman, appreciate the loyalty of its cherished subscribers in the region and thank them for contributing to the success story of MTN. Since the inception of the festival, various life enriching activations including the provision of Corporate Social Investment projects, sports and entertainment have been brought to the doorstep of several communities in the region.   Ashantifest 2017 will involve several days of targeted events, activations and consumer engagements.

Some of the activities planned for the celebration include:

  • Customer Soiree at Golden Bean Hotel

  • Inter community football gala at Asem School Park

  • Walkathon/ Health screening in Kumasi

  • SME Fair at Golden Tulip

  • Basketball Championship at KCM

  • Wi-Fi handing over ceremony & Dinner at Manhyia

  • Kotoko Project Sod cutting/ inspection at Adako Jachie

  • MTN will also organize entertainment activities including MTN Pulse Invasion for the youth as well as Movie Mania.

This is the reason why for over six years running, we set aside one month each year to renew our commitment to deliver on distinct customer experience and also embark on community activities to brighten the lives of people in the region. Ashantifest is the festival that brings MTN closer to the people of the Ashanti region. At MTN, our customers come first in all we do”.Ashanti Fest is one of the several regional festivals designed and celebrated by MTN across the country to bring us closer to the communities we operate in. It is held in appreciation of the continuous support of the region to the growth of the MTN. Other MTN initiated regional festivals include: Koftownfest (Eastern Region) Suncity fest (Brong Ahafo Region), Twin City fest (Western Region) and Savanna fest (for the three Northern Regions).
