UPP secretary resigns, joins UFP

Michael-DomorThe Ashanti regional secretary of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Michael Dwomoh has announced his resignation from the party ahead of this year’s general election.

In a statement released on 1st June, 2016, he indicated that he has now joined forces with Nana Agyenim Boateng and the United Front party (UFP).

According to him, this is a personal move about contributing positively to the offering of solutions to improve the lives of Ghanaians using the platform of all inclusive governance concept created by Nana Agyenim Boateng and the UFP family.

MICHAEL DWOMOH ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION AS REGIONAL SECRETARY (ASHANTI)

I wish to announce to the general public, UPP members, media houses, registered political parties and the electoral commission of Ghana that I have resigned from United Progressive Party (UPP) as the Ashanti Regional Secretary and as such cease to be member of UPP. I have moved on and successfully joined United Front Party (UFP). This personal decision to join forces with Nana Agyenim Boateng and the UFP family has nothing to do with political cumnavigating but it is about positively contributing to the offeringof solution to improve the lives of Ghanaians using the platform of all inclusive governance concept created by Nana Agyenim Boateng and UFP family.

I respectfully appreciate the trust, confidence and the support accorded to me by NEC of UPP especially eight regional executives parliamentary group and Ms Yaa Serwaa Acheampong (women’s organizer) and the regional chairman, Mr. Charles Cosby Armah when I was UPP Ashanti Regional secretary.

I humbly wish UPP well and best of political luck.
