UCOMS to computerize operations

ucomsThe University College of Management Studies as part of its efforts to make greater impact has set out to computerize its operations.

Board Chairman of the University made this known during the institution’s 3rd congregation held on the school’s premises at Ayeduase New site in Kumasi at the weekend.

Dr. Sazrar Opata, in his welcome address also announced several innovations being championed to make the school’s operations efficient.

“In order to be abreast with technological advancements, UCOMS has signed an MOU with Fleet Technologies; an IT service provider to develop an online college management system which will transform operations in students registration and admissions,fees collection, electronic library, online access to students’ exam results.”

Over 500 hundred students comprising two batches were graduated at the event.

Meanwhile, Rector of the school,Dr. Henry Fram Akplu also shared some of the schools successes as well as challenges with rawgist.com.

He highlighted infrastructural challenges and the institution’s inability to attract adequate number of students as the main challenges his outfit is seeks to address.
