Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris has officially joined French Lique 1 side FC Nantes on a season long loan deal from Portuguese outfit FC Porto.
The diminutive forward had a torrid time in the Portuguese league, featuring only eight times and failed to find the back of the net.
Waris, 26, will have the opportunity to lighten up his dwindling career, by moving to a favourable terrain, having already featured for Valenciennes and Lorient.
Nantes will have the option to buy Waris after his loan expiration provided his performance impresses his pay masters.
The Ghanaian international is the fourth addition to a side which placed ninth with 52 points last season.
Nantes welcome AS Monaco on friday at home with Waris likely to start.
