“The President’s great vision is clear to those who care to know”-Yammin

yammin-courtDeputy Ashanti regional Minister Joseph Yammin has highlighted the vision of President John Dramani Mahama, to improve upon the quality of life of all Ghanaians.

Joseph Yammin who was speaking at the Eid-ul-Adha celebration held at the weekend at the T. I. Ahmaddiya senior high school cited “the construction of ultra-modern Senior High Schools, the expansion of health facilities and the strengthening of the National Health Insurance Scheme among others” as measures taken to better the lives of Ghanaians.

“The vision of His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama to improve upon the quality of life of all Ghanaians is there for all who care to see”, the minister emphasized and asked all Ghanaians to support government in its quest to better their lots.

“It is understandable that people may express their reservations about certain Governmental decisions but such are some of the actions that we necessarily have to endure, if we have to make progress in national development”.

Hon. Yammin commended the Muslim community for a successful Hajj and also for a peaceful Ramadan.

He reminded Ghanaians of their obligations to the state and urged them to live up to their responsibilities to the nation in ensuring that “we send our children to school, keep our environments clean at all times and also pay our taxes to appropriate agencies”.

Eid-ul-Adha, also referred to as the Feast of the Sacrifice, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to honour the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his young first-born son, Ismail (Ishmael), as an act of submission to Allah’s command.

Also present at the event were Mauvi A.Hammed Tahir, Ashanti regional missionary of the Ahmadiya Muslim Mission and Mr. Hakim Baidoo, Ashanti Regional President of the Ahmadiya Muslim Mission.
