Some Polling Station Executives of the Techiman North Constituency have rallied to the defense of former MP for the area Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi.
They say it is not true that Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi is causing divisions within the party there.
Earlier allegations by a section of the executives was that the former legislator was not cooperating with them on a litany of issues. They also accused him of sponsoring a new set of people to contest them as executives to serve the MP’s parochial interests.
Prof. Ameyaw Akumfi is also accused ofalso sabotaging the NPP MP of the area, Hon Martin Oti Gyarko.
Rawgist.com learns reliably that these allegations have been reported to the President by a delegation led by, the party chairman Isaac Osei Antwi.
Some polling station executives at Tuobodom have however rallied to the defense of their former MP through a press statement contending the charges being leveled against him as false.
