Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare has advised residents of Techiman and its adjoining towns to take tourism seriously.
She believes the development of every community is contingent on its tourist sites.
The tourism minister who was speaking during the inauguration of a new tourism office for Techiman further urged all stakeholders in the development of Techiman Municipality to take advantage of the newly established tourism office to accelerate the development of the area.
Municipal Chief Executive of Techiman, Philip Oppong Amponsah also promised the Minister that, the municipal assembly will utilize the opportunity to bring development to the people and help solve the unemployment problem in the municipality.
He also extended his gratitude to government for giving them a share of the national cake.
