Ghana Politics News-Media Monitors, a section of NDC serial callers group in Kumasi have expressed their resolve to work to ensure the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo becomes successful in his tenure.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper after a meeting last Sunday where a congratulatory statement was released by the group, Musa Abattoir, spokesman and coordinator for Samuel Ofosu Ampofo campaign in Ashanti pledged the group’s unflinching support to the new NDC leader.
He stressed the importance of supporting the chairman to lead the party in all activities aimed at recapturing power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 elections.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo, the spokesman intimated has every potential to lead the NDC to regroup and re-strategize for power in 2020.
‘’We as a group have every confidence in Mr Ofosu Ampfo to deliver the NDC from its current position to recapture political power in 2020 because he has worked and seen it all in life’’, Mr Abattoir passionately stressed.
UNITY:
Mr Abattoir, a deputy constituency organizer for Asawase NDC, rallied party members in the region to close their ranks and be united behind their new leader.
Once the elections are over everyone needs to come on board and support the new leader as well as the other elected national executives, Mr Abattoir noted.
With a united and solid front, the notable serial caller believed the NDC party can regroup early and in a better way to recapture power from the NPP government which he claimed were performing abysmally.
He urged all groups within the NDC to tailor their activities to supporting the newly elected national executives so as to enable them work with a common purpose.
‘’We should be bound by the elections that took place recently at the trade fair center and ensure that the executives we chose at the polls are given the support they need to function well’’, Mr Abattoir posited.
CHANCES:
Speaking with unbridled passion, Mr Abattoir said the NDC with its current crop of leadership possesses the acumen and competencies to work to recapture political power in 2020.
From the national chairman to its national communication team members, the spokesman indicated the NDC has a solid force.
With this solidity, Mr Abattoir expressed the hope of the NDC coming up with better strategies and alternative ideas to counter that of the ruling party in 2020.
The NDC, the serial caller opined has a better chance of winning political power now than ever since the NPP, he noted has failed to live up to the promises it made to the Ghanaian people in the run up to the 2016 general elections.
‘’We are poised to recapture power now than ever and with Mr Ofosu Ampofo leading the new NDC team nothing can stop the party’s victory in 2020’’, Mr Abattoir confidently stated.
