Sanitation: Pentecost Pastor throws support behind gov’t

A Pastor with the church of Pentecost has pledged the church’s commitment to ensuring better sanitation in the country.

Rev Daniel Kwaku Amedey of the church of Pentecost Kyeikrom district in the Sefwi Bekwai Area says the church will do all within its power to support the government achieve her sanitation goals for the country.

Rev. Amedey was Speaking to Awuku Addo of Henex radio Bibiani on the sidelines of a communal labour organized by the church of Pentecost Kyeikrom district at Sanfifire on the Sefwi Bekwai Asankrangwa main road.

The district minister, Rev Daniel Kwaku Amedey explained that they chose to work on that portion of the road because it had become a danger to road users.

He added that the church will continue to do more to benefit the society especially in the area of sanitation. He said the communal labour will be held in the first week of every month.

The unit committee chairman of the area; Mr. Nicholas Gbadago eulogised the leadership of the church on behalf of the chief and people of Sanfifire.
