Residents of Techiman have been singing the praises of Winners (98.5)FM since Saturday for pulling off another great Health Screening and Blood Donation Exercise.
Residents of BA’s Commercial capital were at the premises of Winners FM to check their Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Eyes among various tests. Many also had the opportunity to undergo full body scans as well as obtain free consultation with Medical Doctors from the Holy Family Hospital.
Approximately three Hundred residents participated in the event which was free of charge.
Authorities of the Holy Family Hospital; event partners were excited about the event and urged the station to make the event more frequent as its importance to residents of Techiman cannot be over stretched.
General Manager of Winners FM, Bernard Buachi in an interview on Winners FM however lamented the failure of Corporate entities in Techiman to support the initiative especially after the success of the maiden edition held in August this year and urged businesses to partner the radio station to put together relevant events for the people of Techiman.
